Not happy with Google Back Links Update

I really don’t know what Google is doing with their Back Links update but my site PicHostOnline has gone down from 99 backlinks to a mere 3 backlinks . I know that Google doesn’t show all of the backlinks because in Google WebMaster tools it says that there are 4000+ pages linking to my site and yahoo and the other search engines show 1000+ links so im not sure what Google is upto and all I hope is that it doesnt effect my Page Rank..

Well all I can say is, thats life. And I still love Google the same even though they cannot count :P .

    Have you tried checking the links showing in the webmaster central part of google ? That will show you a more extensive list https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/siteoverview

    Yes on my siteoverview on google webmasters it says I have 4000+ links.
